Officials' Convention
The 16th Annual PIAA Officials' Convention will be held August 5, 6, and 7, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-EAST, 4751 Lindle Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. It will again start on Thursday with the Annual NFHS Field Hockey Rules Interpretation Meeting and "Train the Trainer".
Friday's activities will start with the Annual Wrestling Chapter Rules Interpreters Meeting at 9:00 am and we will, again, host the NFL Football clinic starting at noon. PIAA, in conjunction with NISOA, will offer the "Train the Trainer" program for local chapter interpreters. Friday events will proceed with sport specific sessions, rules interpretation meetings and a social to introduce all members of the PIAA Officials' Council.
Saturday events will culminate by honoring those male officials who have served PIAA for 35 years and those female officials who have served 25 years, with their gold watch.
